| Dayco Products, L.L.C./Mark IV Automotive is an original equipment manufacturer/supplier of power transmission and air intake products and assemblies in North America.
BASIC FUNCTION:
Assist the Rochester Hills Technical Support Team during periodic work overload situations occurring typically during summer vacation schedules and other Holidays. Work will typically include setting up of new PC hardware as it arrives and loading/configuring of software as directed by the Technical support group. Position will also assist in PC moves, printer setups and wiring.
SKILLS:
SPECIALIZED OR TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS –
Rudimentary understanding of PC’s and their functionality. Hands on experience in either a classroom or home environment.
DIFFICULTY –
Hardware troubleshooting will require problem analysis skills and some software configurations are quire complex.
EQUIPMENT OPERATION –
Mostly computer equipment: PC’s, printers, LAN hubs, cabling, tape backups
CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION:
Some access to private information during routine hardware trouble shooting processes. Will need to sign all appropriate Confidentiality agreements.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office type environment. Normal business hours: 8 AM – 5 PM.
Position requires lifting up to maximum of 25 pounds.
