| Open Position: Web Developer and Software Support
Basic skills with HTML, Javascript, CSS and a server-side programming language of your choice are required.
Artistic ability and design expertise are greatly desired. Applicant needs to have a good idea on what makes a web page appealing. Needs to be able to work well within constraints and design guidelines.
Work needs to be done to various pages within the SECS website, as well as home pages for various faculty members throughout SECS. The CTO is willing to train and work with you throughout your growth as a web developer.
In addition to your primary role as web developer, you will eventually be tasked with a general support role within SECS. Duties include software deployment, desktop support, network troubleshooting, hardware installation, and OS installation.
Basic knowledge in Linux, Apache, IIS, Active Directory, and networking is highly desired as well. Even more desired is a willingness to learn new technologies and a constant drive to make improvements to existing practices and procedures. |
