Under general direction:

1. Provide operating system installation and maintenance.
2. Install standard desktop applications on new systems
3. Installation of new RAM and Hard Drives in older machines.
4. Track trouble calls in Help Desk software system.
5. Assist colleagues with migration to new computer system.
6. Documentation of installation procedures or updates.
7. Provide group trainings on new products.
8. Identification of server-related problems or network global issues.
9. Setup, administer, and maintain a server environment.
10. Identify and recommend new software or hardware products.
11. Assist with DocumentMall administrations activities.
12. Assist with managements of RSA Key Fobs for VPN
13. Assist with supporting a growing number of mobile users via VPN, WIFI, Cell Phone Sync and Cell Card Internet
14. Assist with backup and recovery with Veritas, Tape Loader and Iron Mountain.
15. Assist with management of multifunction Ikon printers for network printing, faxing and scanning.
16. Assist with Multimedia presentation and video conference setups for meetings both onsite and offsite.
17. Assist with management of Building Security systems for creating and deletion of badges as well as Video security systems.
Education and Comptency Requirements:

a)Four- year degree in computer related field and at least 2 years of experience in the following
OR
b)four years experience in the following:
Windows XP, Server 2000/2003 environments experience.
Advanced computer hardware configuration
Advanced Microsoft Office suite
Electronic E-mail systems (Outlook)
Extensive Help Desk and Customer Support Skills
First level support and trouble shooting skills
Software life cycle
2. Experience in mentorship role training interns.
3. Ability to exercise good judgment and initiative in analyzing problems and implementing solutions.
4. Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills.
5. Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills.
6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Must have one or more MCP Certifications preferably in Windows XP, Server Administration or Active Directory.
8. Must be available 24/7.
9. Must have available means of transportation to and from Authority and for required offsite meetings or site visits.
